At least four people died in a significant drone attack on Russian regions, including Moscow, which experienced its largest assault in over a year. Three fatalities occurred in the Moscow region, and one in Belgorod, with a woman killed when her home was struck in Khimki. Two men died in the Mytishchi district. Many high-rise buildings and infrastructure were damaged.

Moscow’s air defenses intercepted 81 drones aimed at the capital, and the attack resulted in 12 injuries, mainly near an oil refinery, although the refinery’s equipment remained intact. Russia’s defense ministry reported that 556 drones were shot down overnight across the country. Additionally, Moscow’s Sheremetyevo airport reported drone debris on its grounds, but no damage occurred.
