Tobias Dietrich

Tobias Dietrich is Head of Security & Intelligence at FOREUS Intelligence and Head of the Iraq & Syria Research Team at the Heidelberg Institute for International Conflict Research. He specialises in armed groups, political violence, and open-source investigations, with a regional focus on Iraq and the Middle East. He is completing his master’s degree in Political Science at the University of Vienna, where his thesis examines the Popular Mobilisation Forces (PMF) in Iraq.
