Peter Brian M. Wang, Ph.D, is Deputy Head at the Centre of Economics and Public Finance Studies, National Institute of Public Administration, Malaysia. Prior to this, he served in the Ministry of Investment, Trade, and Industry (MITI) where his primary areas of responsibility were in trade policy research and negotiations. He has been involved in various negotiating fora i.e., APEC, ASEAN and the TPPA. He writes for local and international publications and recently contributed to the book “Contesting Malaysia’s Integration into the World Economy” (Springerlink, 2021) and “Tun Abdul Razak” (University Malaya Press).
