Julie Bessette is a Montreal-based political scientist and analyst focused on public policy, security studies, and data-driven decision-making. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science (with a minor in Psychology) from Concordia University, where she graduated with distinction, and is pursuing a Master of Arts in Public Policy and Public Administration at the same institution. Her career is centered in the public service. Bilingual in French and English, she has published work on regime type and naval warfare with the Canadian Centre for Strategic Studies and presented original research on UN peacekeeping and institutional dependency at the Canadian Undergraduate Security Conference.
