Hellmut Lagos Koller is a senior career diplomat from Chile. He has been alternate Permanent Representative to the International Organizations in Vienna and in Geneva and has participated in the negotiations of the Treaty for the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons He has been involved in Space Diplomacy since 2006 and has chaired the United Nations Open Ended Working Group on Reducing Space Threats through Norms, Rules and Principles of Responsible Behaviours (2022-2023). Currently, he is the Ambassador of Chile to Norway and Iceland.
