Germany’s armed forces currently do not plan to award contracts to the U. S. data analytics and defense software company Palantir, according to military officer Thomas Daum.
He stated, “I don’t see that happening at all at the moment,” and emphasized that granting industry staff access to the national database is inconceivable.
Recently, it was reported that Palantir’s AI system will become an official program for the Pentagon, ensuring its long-term use in the U. S. military.
The German army is exploring AI tools to analyze battlefield data more quickly than human capabilities.
