Tariq Khan is a Senior Researcher at the Institute for Global Dialogue (IGD), associated with UNISA, South Africa. He is an International Affairs Analyst, host of the YouTube program Debate IR, and a PhD scholar in International Relations at Minhaj University Lahore. He also serves as a Visiting Lecturer in International Relations at various universities, including IIUI and SZABIST Islamabad. His research focuses on economic, security, maritime, and diplomatic issues of Africa, Pakistan–Africa relations, major powers’ engagement with Africa, Asia–Africa relations, and South–South cooperation.
