Muhammad Shafiy bin Mazlan is an independent researcher specializing in the geopolitics of the Middle East, Türkiye's foreign policy, and the political economy of oil wars. His research also focuses on Foreign Policy Analysis (FPA) and currently, the emergence of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in diplomacy and contemporary conflict analysis, with a particular interest in unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) warfare. He holds an International Master in Regional Integration from the Asia-Europe Institute (AEI), University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
