Akerke Akhmetova is The Vice Minister of Justice of The Republic of Kazakhstan since 2019. Before, she fulfilled a variety of senior posts in Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Justice, among them Director of the Department of State Property Rights Protection, Director of the Department of International Law and Cooperation, and Senior Principal at the Department of Analysis and Strategic Planning and the Division of International Treaties. Akhmetova is a Master’s Graduate of the University of Sheffield (UK) in Public Policy and a graduate of the Executive Development Program in Public Policy and Management in Sanford School of Public Policy, Duke University (UK).
