Ukraine has agreed to export domestically produced drones to the United States as part of the Pentagon’s Drone Dominance programme, marking a significant step in growing defense cooperation between Kyiv and Washington.
A source familiar with the matter told Reuters that the agreement forms part of broader negotiations over Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles, which have gained international recognition for their effectiveness on the battlefield during the war with Russia.
Six Ukrainian Companies Approved
Under the agreement, six Ukrainian drone manufacturers have been granted permission to export around 100 drones each to the United States for participation in the Pentagon programme.
Neither the Ukrainian nor U.S. governments immediately confirmed the arrangement.
