Debris from an intercepted drone damaged the Etihad Towers in Abu Dhabi, which houses the Israeli embassy and other international missions, causing minor injuries to a woman and her child. The drone debris fell after a loud interception was heard throughout the emirate. Following strikes by the U. S. and Israel on Iran, Iran threatened to target U. S. bases and has attacked civilian areas in Gulf cities, affecting regional aviation and trade.

As retaliatory strikes continued, loud blasts were reported across Gulf Arab states, including Dubai, where two people were injured from falling debris. Notable locations like Dubai’s international airport, Burj Al Arab hotel, and Palm Jumeirah Island sustained damage, as did Abu Dhabi’s international airport. Smoke was seen rising from Jebel Ali port after a missile interception caused a fire.

Oman, previously unaffected, was hit by drone strikes at Duqm commercial port, resulting in one injury. Qatar’s government reported a limited fire in an industrial zone due to similar debris.
