Dr. Prachi Aggarwal is an Assistant Professor at Department of East Asian Studies, University of Delhi. Formerly she was based at Sanchi University of Buddhist Indic Studies. Her areas of interest are Chinese foreign policy, Chinese culture and India-China relations. As a Mandarin speaking researcher, she has written for various columns and online websites and also published papers in reputed journals. Her recent work has been as an author of a book titled “China’s Energy Security: The Journey from Self-Sufficiency to Global Investor" which was published in 2022 by Palgrave Macmillan Singapore. Previously she authored the book China’s Energy Security: The Domestic Discussion " published by Knowledge World Publishers New Delhi. She is regularly invited as a panel speaker at LSTV Insight Programme, NewsX as well as at various universities both inside and outside India.
