Dr. Lhoucine Rhazoui is the Director of Cultural Affairs Department at the General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), based in Jeddah (KSA) since 2020. A Moroccan career diplomat, Dr Rhazoui is holder of a PhD degree in Political Science from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies in Seoul, South Korea, A Master’s degree in International Studies and Diplomacy from Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane and a Master’s degree in Translation and Interpretation Studies from the Advanced King Fahd School in Tangier (Morocco). Besides his diplomatic career, Dr Rhazoui is interested in the promotion of the role of culture as a means to connect communities coming from different backgrounds and find common spaces of constructive dialogue, discussion and exchange.
