She has over two years of experience in tracking international terrorist activities for the U.S. State Department’s congressionally mandated Statistical Annex for the Annual Country Reports on Global Terrorism. As an expert in counterterrorism, she analyzes the recent trends in terrorist tactics and targets in the Middle East. Her research focuses on Iran-backed groups such as the Houthis and Jihadist groups like Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula.
