U. S. President Donald Trump announced that the United States has started “major combat operations” in Iran, warning of possible American casualties.
The military strikes are intended to destroy Iranian missiles and eliminate its navy, following previous warnings from the U. S. and Israel regarding Iran’s nuclear and missile programs.
Trump emphasized the seriousness of the situation, stating that the Iranian regime poses a threat to American lives and described the mission as noble for the future, despite the risk of casualties.
He urged members of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard to surrender and promised them immunity, stating that failure to do so would lead to “certain death. ” Talks between Washington and Tehran about Iran’s nuclear ambitions recently ended without an agreement.
