A Golden Season: Introducing Breitling’s Holiday Capsule

Breitling has released a limited gold capsule collection just in time for the holiday season, featuring five unique models: three Navitimers and two Premiers, all made of 18k red gold. Each watch combines new dial colors and movements, ensuring exclusivity. This collection is available through select boutiques and on Breitling.com.

The designs reflect Breitling’s heritage and modern advancements. Full-gold watches command attention and convey luxury, with red gold providing a warm tone that complements both formal and casual wear. According to Breitling CEO Georges Kern, the Navitimer and Premier designs appeal to collectors and new customers alike, thanks to their timelessness and unique features.

The Navitimer is famous in Breitling’s lineup, known for its endurance as one of the longest-standing chronographs in history, initially created in 1952 for pilots as a wrist computer. It gained popularity among professionals and became iconic in the aviation field, even being worn by astronaut Scott Carpenter in 1962.

The gold capsule includes three Navitimer models. The Navitimer B01 Chronograph 41 features a brown dial with white subdials and a matching red-gold logo. This 41 mm watch retains the size of the original from the 1950s and has an open caseback showcasing its movement. The watch comes with a brown alligator strap and a red-gold folding clasp.

Next is the Navitimer Automatic 36, which has a green dial with a coordinated slide rule. It boasts a 36 mm case powered by the Breitling Caliber 17, appealing to those who prefer a smaller watch. It includes a green alligator strap and a red-gold buckle.

The third Navitimer is the Navitimer 32, featuring an all-brown dial with diamond hour markers. This model is the smallest of the three at 8 mm thick, powered by the SuperQuartz™ Caliber 77. It comes with a brown alligator strap and a matching buckle.

The Premier collection represents Breitling’s history and was established in the 1940s. It shifted focus from purely functional watches to those that also prioritize style, embodying impeccable taste under Willy Breitling’s direction.

The Premier B01 Chronograph 42 includes a navy-blue dial with red-gold hands and indexes. Powered by the Caliber 01, it showcases its movement through an open caseback and features a light-brown alligator strap.

The Premier B09 Chronograph 40 has a dark green dial and a classic size of 40 mm. It is manually wound and offers a slimmer profile. The watch’s movement is visible through its display caseback and includes a dark-brown alligator strap.

All five pieces in this limited collection will not be reproduced, making them highly sought after. They combine iconic design, exclusive colors, and precious materials, appealing to both seasoned collectors and newcomers. The watches will be available starting early December, with preorders currently open through Breitling boutiques.
