Polish FM Sikorski: Europe Must Brace for ‘Deep’ Russian Strike

Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski warned that Europe needs to prepare for possible Russian attacks, calling it "irresponsible" not to enhance defenses like a "drone wall" on the eastern front.

Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski warned that Europe needs to prepare for possible Russian attacks, calling it “irresponsible” not to enhance defenses like a “drone wall” on the eastern front.

During a visit in London, he encouraged European nations to continue supporting Ukraine and expressed hope that U. S. President Donald Trump would supply long-range Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine for striking Russian infrastructure.

Sikorski emphasized the need to provide Ukraine with more weapons, including anti-aircraft and short- to medium-range systems, to safeguard Europe against drone and air incursions. He mentioned that Russia could reach deep into Europe and highlighted the importance of building anti-drone capabilities.

Sikorski also noted that Europe should be prepared to support Ukraine for the next three years, aligning with Ukraine’s own planning timeline.
