New Hampshire native Karoline Leavitt is the new White House press secretary under the Donald Trump administration. At the age of 27, the face of President Trump is the youngest person appointed to the said position. Her role is to communicate the messages and ensure that there are no gaps with the political and policy programs of US President Donald Trump.

The new personality under the Trump administration signaled a new message that hiring young officers for key positions in the US government may mean reaching the significant percentage of the younger sector reflected in the elections, especially all the swing states that made him the winner for all.

Leavitt promised to meet the members of the media as regularly as she can. She also announced that the briefing room is also open for podcasters and social media influencers. She will play a crucial role in making the White House connected with the general public. Additionally, the new press secretary also mentioned making the briefing room more accessible and more open.

Leavitt availed himself of an internship program at the White House during the first presidency of US President Donald Trump. In 2019, she obtained her bachelor’s degree from Saint Anselm College with a degree in politics and communication. As the first in her family to graduate from college, she received an athletic scholarship and was a school football varsity.

Leavitt’s White House experience started in 2017 when she became an intern for Trump’s first term. Kayleigh McEnany was Trump’s final press secretary and was the immediate boss then of Leavitt, who eventually praised her for her competence and hard work for her role initially in the correspondence office. She had her on-the-job training indeed for a future office, which will make her the youngest press secretary in American history.

Her presence in the said office will certainly showcase a good public relations campaign and a closer tie with mostly the young generation of the United States. She will definitely exhibit that progressive and youthful vibe, explaining regularly the position of the US government, including the policy programs. Leavitt may be another milestone and asset for the Trump administration.

Despite their 32-year age gap, Leavitt is married to a 60-year-old real estate tycoon, Nicholas Robert, who manages a multimillion-dollar business. She was also the campaign press secretary. This means that she has what it takes to speak on behalf of the US President anytime. Her familiarity with Trump’s personality is no hesitation to speak even with the most unpopular issues and pressing concerns of many Americans.

President Trump is confident that Leavitt has the ability to succeed, as he described her as “smart, tough, and an effective communicator.” She started her press briefing immediately on her first day of office with all the issues and policy programs during the first few days of the Trump administration.
