Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi stated on Saturday that the nation’s response to the assassination of Hamas Politburo Chief Ismail Haniyeh would be “precise, calculated, and managed.”

He expressed these views during a press conference, where he addressed his recent discussions with his German, French, and British counterparts regarding Israel’s “terrorist action” in the assassination of Haniyeh, as reported by the Iranian Students’ News Agency (ISNA).

Emphasizing Iran’s entitlement to retaliate against Israel for the assassination, Araghchi noted in the conversations that Israel’s “aggression” posed a threat to Iran’s national security and sovereignty, which would not go unanswered. He affirmed that Tehran’s response would be delivered “precisely and in a calculated and managed manner, taking all factors into account,” according to the ISNA report.

Araghchi said the revenge “will be taken at the right time and using the appropriate method,” said the report.
