How Chinese tourism companies spreading the culture of peace and dialogue between civilizations

As an expert in Chinese political affairs, I have found a close relationship between (tourism in China and China’s spread of the culture of peace) around the world, given the diversity of tourism that China enjoys in terms of components, styles, tourism products, antiquities, and ancient civilization, which meets the tastes of all foreign tourists and contributes to spreading the culture of tolerance, coexistence, and Chinese peace around the world, in addition to the long average length of stay of Western and foreign tourists in China, which contributes to deepening the culture of Chinese peace around the world.

  In this context, the Chinese platform “Trip.com”, under the auspices of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities in Egypt, represented by the Egyptian Tourism Promotion Authority, organized a workshop for workers in the tourism sector in Egypt, to introduce them to the Chinese market, the most important features of Chinese civilization and the tastes of the Chinese, which contributes to advancing tourism between the two countries, and deepens the culture of peace and dialogue of civilizations between different countries of the world, in accordance with the principle of Chinese President “Xi Jinping” regarding “dialogue of civilizations” and rejecting division, differences and conflicts, and calling for a multi-polar international world, in accordance with the Chinese principle known as “the common destiny of mankind” by Chinese President “Xi Jinping”.

  China also seeks to highlight the world’s civilizations within it, the most important of which is the pioneering Chinese tourism experience in holding tourism exhibitions for various countries around the world. At the forefront of which – as an Egyptian citizen and academic – is the exhibition hosted by the Shanghai National Museum in the People’s Republic of China, which hosted the temporary exhibition of Egyptian antiquities, under the title: “The Top of the Pyramid: Ancient Egyptian Civilization”, on August 2024, which attracted about 70 thousand visitors during the first week of its opening. This serves the Chinese culture of peace around the world, according to the vision of Chinese President “Xi Jinping”, on the concept of (the common destiny of humanity). In addition to the initiative of Chinese President “Xi” on (the dialogue of civilizations). From here, China and the leaders of the ruling Communist Party in China are striving to spread the culture of Chinese peace globally according to the principle of the common destiny of humanity, by holding tourism exhibitions for various countries of the world with ancient civilizations such as the Egyptian and Pharaonic civilizations, to bring the civilizations of the whole world closer to each other, away from the narrow understanding of conflict.  According to the well-known Chinese principle of “win-win” and mutual benefit between China and everyone.

   Tourism in China has witnessed a wide increase since the Chinese economic reform, after the emergence of the new wealthy middle class after the Chinese authorities eased movement restrictions, so China witnessed an era of prosperity. China has now become one of the most visited countries by tourists. China is currently the third most visited country by tourists. The most prominent tourist places in China are: the Great Wall of China, which is one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, the Forbidden City in Beijing, the capital of China, the Bund in Shanghai, the Mausoleum of the First Emperor “Qin” in Xi’an, Mount Everest, the highest peak in the world, which is located in western China, the city of Hong Kong and Macau in southern China, and Sanya Beach on Hainan Island.

 On the other hand, there are many Chinese tourism companies and their methods of attracting the target audience for the tourism vary. This kind of activities is so important to spread the culture of peace between China and the world.

  Through the previous presentation, we understand the extent of the role of Chinese tourism in attracting more tourists around the world to all different Chinese cities, to visit Chinese tourist destinations, in a way that serves the vision of Chinese President “Xi Jinping” on the dialogue of civilizations and spreading the culture of Chinese peace around the world according to the common destiny of humanity, through Chinese tourism companies organizing many joint promotional campaigns and mutual introductory visits for representatives of the media, tourism companies, tour operators and hotel facilities around the world, in addition to holding tourism exhibitions to highlight the various civilizations of the world, such as Shanghai hosting a museum that displays all the contributions of the ancient Egyptian and Pharaonic civilizations, which contributes to the civilizational, cultural and social dialogue between China, Egypt and the world, especially all countries with ancient civilizations, headed by Egypt.  Therefore, Chinese tourism companies are trying, according to this, to promote the Chinese culture of peace in peaceful coexistence and dialogue, by organizing permanent field and tourist visits to all tourist destinations in China, which ultimately contributes to establishing the foundations of world peace and cultural rapprochement between China and the world through tourism, in addition to the role and contribution of Chinese tourism companies in this, such as the leading company in China, “funtripguide”, as one of the most successful Chinese experiences, which stopped me about the role of Chinese tourism companies in spreading the culture of Chinese peace and cultural and civilizational dialogue globally.
