Margie Jackson is a fervent believer in the transformative power of education, and particularly the power of higher education, to break the cycle of poverty for the most marginalized. She has been working in the education sector for 27 years, and since 2016 she has been fortunate to work with an organization equally passionate about the right to education for all, Education Above All (Doha, Qatar). Ms. Jackson is a Technical Senior Specialist with the Al Fakhoora programme, a division of Education Above All devoted to providing access to quality, relevant higher education for vulnerable youth, including refugees, IDP’s, and members of host communities. She works with development organizations, INGOs, education institutes, and other stakeholders, designing, developing, and managing scholarship programmes currently providing over 10,800 scholarships throughout the MENA region and beyond.
