Isabelle Buhre (Amsterdam, 1989) studied political science at the London School of Economics, and Latin language and literature at the University of Amsterdam and KU Leuven. She worked as a journalist for Dutch weekly magazines HP/De Tijd and Elsevier, and as a research assistant at Utrecht University. Among others she translated 'On the Duty to Keep Faith with Heretics', a work on contract-keeping in the Early Modern period. Currently she works as an independent translator and author.
