Dior creative director Jonathan Anderson presented a new collection in Paris on Tuesday, showcasing metallic trousers, structured jackets, and sheer feathered skirts. This was a year after his debut at the brand owned by LVMH, with notable guests like singer Rosalia and actors Anya Taylor-Joy and Jennifer Lawrence attending the show, which took place on a catwalk over the Tuileries gardens’ octagonal basin.
The spring/summer 2027 collection featured sheer fabrics arranged into structured skirts and tops with long, flowing bows. Anderson, who oversees both womenswear and menswear, aims to revitalize the brand after two years of declining sales. The collection included metallic snakeskin trousers paired with blazers, romantic designs with textured fabrics, and dresses with lace details. Patterns like stripes and checks mixed together, while some pieces displayed impressionist flower prints. Tailored jackets in muted colors were complemented by softer shades like butter yellow and pastel pink. In a creative touch, guests received a box with Chinese walnuts, which inspired the collection.
