India will not quickly sign any trade agreements and will reject conditions from partner countries that limit its trading options, according to Trade Minister Piyush Goyal.

The country is working on a free trade agreement with the European Union, but there are still disagreements over market access, environmental standards, and rules of origin.

Trade talks are also happening with the United States, which has imposed 50% tariffs on Indian exports. Goyal emphasized that India will take a careful approach and will not rush into trade deals.

The EU, UK, and US are urging India to reduce imports of Russian oil, but India maintains that these purchases are crucial for its energy security.
