16 December 2014, A Day that shock the nation: Remembering APS Peshawar victims

December 16, 2014, the Army Public School (APS) Peshawar became the site of one of the most horrific acts of terrorism in Pakistan’s history.

December 16, 2014, the Army Public School (APS)  Peshawar became the site of one of the most horrific acts of terrorism in Pakistan’s history. On that black  day, the lives of 147 individuals, including 132 innocent schoolchildren, were brutally taken by a group of militants from the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP). As we reflect on this tragedy, we boost  our heartfelt salute to the martyrs of APS and stand resolutely with their families. This day serves as a dark  reminder of our firm resolve and commitment against terrorism.

A Day of Horror

The APS attack was not just an attack on a school; it was an attack on the future of Pakistan. The militants, driven by a warped ideology, aimed to infuse fear and chaos in a nation striving for peace and progress. This brutal act was a sign  of the khwarji fitna—a term used to describe those who distort religion to justify violence and terror. Such ideologies are the true enemies of humanity, targeting the innocent people and shattering families.

Unmasking the TTP Nexus

TTP  effect  the APS attack at the command  of their foreign masters the perpetrators were in touch with raw and endless handlers in Afghanistan who have been identified ,TTP has always thrive  with support of their foreign masters.  Indian intelligence agency raw plan and finance the union  of the tehreek e  Taliban Pakistan TTP with other militant functions for terrorists in Pakistan. India has also been funnelling, supporting ,giving money to bay  separatists activists through its handlers in Afghanistan and Iran. Pakistan has heard a case history with international community on Indian sponsored terrorism in Pakistan. Armed forces of Pakistan will never let the sacrifices of the nation go in vain and will eliminate the curse of terrorism from Pakistan

In the after effects of the attack, it became increasingly evident that the TTP’s operations were not isolated but rather part of a larger nexus involving intelligence agencies and foreign actors, particularly RAW. This connection has raised serious questions about the multifaceted nature of terrorism in the region. The TTP, as a agent  for various external influences, poses a significant threat to Pakistan’s regiment and solidity

In remembering the victims, we must also recognize our collective responsibility to combat the forces of extremism. The APS attack shock  the nation into action, leading to the implementation of the National Action Plan (NAP) aimed at dismantling the infrastructure of terrorism. It is imperative that we remain sharp eyed and united against any form of extremism, terrorism whether it is  domestic or foreign.

We stand with these families, advocating for justice and a commitment to ensuring that no parent has to endure such a loss again. Their sacrifices must not be forgotten; instead, they should inspire us to work tirelessly towards a safer, more secure Pakistan.
