The role of Chinese artificial intelligence in the Gaza war

Perhaps the irony that struck me most as an expert in Chinese political affairs is that I stopped researching and analyzing the relationship between “Operation Al-Aqsa Flood” or the Gaza War on October 7, 2023, and the employment of artificial intelligence technology in China in that war. (Integrating artificial intelligence into Israeli military operations and training) played a role in  The United States of America enlisted the help of Israeli cadres in a short period of time to eliminate the Hamas movement and its complex tunnels inside the Gaza Strip, in addition to China employing this to highlight this comprehensive destruction caused by the Israelis and Americans inside the Gaza Strip) playing a pivotal role in this raging conflict between the two parties.  China’s reaction was quick, and as early assessments showed, Beijing was able to take advantage of the intense pressure exerted by world public opinion against Tel Aviv’s crimes, in order to attack the double standards of the West, especially the United States. Beijing’s immediate reaction immediately after the Gaza war was to  Relying heavily on advanced artificial intelligence techniques to create images and videos that depict the United States of America and Israel as the destructive devil, and reflect the extent of destruction and devastation in the Gaza Strip.  Therefore, the Chinese photos and videos published publicly using artificial intelligence techniques came to highlight this significant increase in the number of civilian casualties among the Palestinians.

China has made good use of artificial intelligence technology to win the battle of values that it leads diplomatically against the United States of America, Israel and the West, through the Chinese broadcasting advanced images and videos designed with artificial intelligence techniques, to show anti-American sentiment in the Middle East. Chinese images and videos also showed the intelligence system.  The artificial reality after the recent Gaza war is the extent of the current division between Americans who support Israel and those who do not support it.  It was also noted that at the same time, a campaign linked to the ruling Communist Party in China began to create and publish satirical and propaganda images, or what are known as “memes”, produced by artificial intelligence, which were specifically designed to stir up anti-American sentiment in the region.  The Chinese design of the images came using Chinese artificial intelligence technology by creating expressions for different images that show the extent of the Arab and international popular hatred for the United States of America, such as a design that highlights the American “Uncle Sam” sitting on a throne made of guns above the phrase “American arms dealer” in reference to his killing of the Palestinians after the United States refused.  The US several times issued a Chinese and Russian veto in the UN Security Council for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. Other published Chinese photos also showed US President Joe Biden wearing a worker’s uniform, standing in front of an American flag and around him bloody scenes that reflect the extent of the devastation and devastation taking place in the Gaza Strip, and written on that photo is the phrase: “The United States of America is the only supporter of the war in  Gaza”.

The Chinese response to the United States of America itself came through the mechanism of sudden escalation in confronting Washington, by igniting the technical battle with it to new levels, through China restricting exports of metals used in the manufacture of chips, electronics, and solar energy products.  We find that, according to a notice issued by (the Ministry of Commerce and the Chinese Ministry of Customs), as of August 1, 2023, and to protect Chinese national security and the interests of the Chinese state, it is prohibited for any party in China to export minerals (gallium and germanium), as exporters of these minerals must  If they wish to continue shipping them outside China, they must apply for licenses that allow them to do so.  Hence, we find that the mechanism of restricting Chinese metal exports abroad, especially to the United States of America and Israel, and linking them to obtaining a license, came to show that China still maintains pivotal weapons in its technological war against Washington and Tel Aviv.

Chinese support for the people of the besieged Gaza Strip also came by preventing the Israelis from obtaining advanced artificial intelligence components and technologies for civil-military dual use from China, as the Israelis announced that the Chinese were imposing some kind of sanctions on Tel Aviv after the October 7, 2023 war. Although the Chinese do not announce this officially, they delay shipments to Israel, under various pretexts, pretexts, and excuses, such as Chinese suppliers asking their importing counterparts in Israel to issue export licenses to Israel that did not exist before, with the aim of China preventing the Israeli side from employing those advanced licenses technologies for military purposes harm innocent civilians in the Gaza Strip.  Especially with the Chinese side noting the extent of the Israeli reliance, during its bombing of the besieged Gaza Strip, on (a database supported by an artificial intelligence system), which made it easier for the Israeli occupation army to identify about 40,000 potential Palestinian targets inside the Gaza Strip.  The Chinese observation also came about Israel’s use of an artificial intelligence system known as “Lavender”, which allowed Israeli military officials to kill large numbers of Palestinian civilians, especially during the first weeks and months of the war. Therefore, the Chinese decision came to prevent the export of advanced technology to Israel, especially that used for civilian and military purposes at the same time, which greatly angered the Israelis and the Chinese, accusing it of not being with them in the war.

At the same time, perhaps what stopped me on the other hand was the Israeli army’s summoning of thousands of Jewish experts around the world and Israelis who specialize in artificial intelligence technology to assist it in its war on the Hamas movement inside the Gaza Strip, with the aim of helping the Israeli occupation army through their experience in using artificial intelligence techniques to  Shooting down Palestinian resistance marches and monitoring the tunnels of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas). The Palestinian tunnel network in the Gaza Strip poses a fundamental challenge to the Israeli army, which announced the discovery of a large number of them and detonating them by determining their locations using advanced artificial intelligence technology.  The Israeli army also resorted to using drones that use artificial intelligence techniques to prepare a map of these tunnels, which Western estimates indicate extend over a distance of more than 500 kilometers. One of these Israeli technologies is the use of drones capable of monitoring humans and working underground. According to Israeli military clarifications, these Israeli drones, with an artificial intelligence system, are able to enter the tunnels belonging to the Hamas movement, and allow seeing as much as communication with them allows.

This is the same as what the Israeli occupation army indicated about the purpose of these advanced artificial intelligence technological techniques in the Gaza war, when the Israeli army spokesman, Daniel Hagari, indicated that the Israeli forces are working “in parallel above and below the ground”, through the Israeli assertion that these technologies are primarily used to shoot down marches used by Palestinian factions, and to draw maps of the tunnel network in the Gaza Strip, which is besieged by the Israeli occupation army inside the Strip. The Israeli army used for the first time the technology (military target aiming scope enhanced by an artificial intelligence system), which is the advanced military scope developed by the “Smart Shooter” company, and equipped with weapons such as rifles and machine guns. It has been noted that this Israeli technology helps Israeli soldiers intercept drones from the Hamas movement, which frequently uses these drones in its war against Israel, with the Israeli army officially declaring, “This advanced Israeli technology with an artificial intelligence system makes every Israeli soldier, even if he was blind, a “sniper”.

On the American side, as Israel’s most prominent political and military supporter in its war inside the Gaza Strip, the United States of America has begun training its soldiers to use “Smart Shooter” technology to shoot down marches belonging to the Hamas movement and its military wing in their war against Israel, knowing that these Palestinian marches belong to the movement. The Palestinian resistance “Hamas” has been increasingly used since the outbreak of the Gaza war by armed factions opposed to Washington, to target bases housing American soldiers in the Middle East.  This is what the United States of America did in training a large number of Israeli and Jewish cadres in the Gaza War, to select and expand Israeli goals in the war on Gaza. The United States of America trained those Israeli cadres to develop an artificial intelligence system called “Habsura”, which is the same system that accelerated  From the pace of Israeli targeting of civilians in the Gaza Strip, the “Habsura” system works to extract large amounts of information from various sources, such as: communications data, aircraft footage, and surveillance data, and then analyzes it and produces recommendations for the targets that the Israeli military forces will target in the face of the movement.  Hamas and its military wing.

What remains worthy of study and analysis in this context is what is happening behind the scenes using artificial intelligence techniques, as many of the arrest operations conducted by the Israeli occupation authorities immediately after the Gaza war revealed that they use the technology of “scanning the faces of Gazans or the people of Gaza who pass through military checkpoints” by using the “artificial intelligence techniques” by the Israeli security. These advanced Israeli programs can identify the names of people in a few seconds. This is exactly what was revealed by Israeli intelligence officers and military officials, who confirmed that Israel began using this advanced artificial intelligence program extensively after the Gaza War.  On October 7, 2023. Taking into account that the Israeli collection and archiving of photos of Gazans was done without their knowledge or consent at all, which violates the most basic human rights standards that Israel has always violated.

From here we understand that the Chinese response to the Israeli and American use of advanced artificial intelligence technology against civilians and defenseless innocents from the people and residents of the besieged Gaza Strip after the “Al-Aqsa Flood” operation, came by preventing Chinese factories, specifically Chinese high-tech factories, from exporting their products to Israel after the Gaza War, as Israel is currently finding it difficult to import advanced components from China, which imposes indirect or officially undeclared sanctions on Israel against the backdrop of the war in Gaza.  The Chinese began to impose many obstacles and create bureaucratic difficulties for shipments to Israel of components that could be used for civilian and military purposes at the same time.  This was revealed by a number of Israeli importers that the Chinese suppliers had begun restrictive practices against them, without announcing sanctions against Israel, by asking Israeli importers to fill out many application forms, with China delaying shipments to Israel, under the pretext of not filling them out, and the models are not properly developed by the Israelis, and the result is difficulties in getting supplies of advanced Chinese technology to Israel.
