North Korea stated that denuclearisation is a matter that cannot be changed and condemned recent nuclear deterrence talks between the U. S. and South Korea.
A spokesperson for North Korea’s foreign ministry claimed that the U. S. and its allies’ discussion about threats to North Korea will not change its status as a nuclear weapons state.
They emphasized that the issue of denuclearisation is fully resolved. Last week, U. S. and South Korean officials met to discuss enhancing their nuclear deterrence against North Korea’s expanding weapons program.
