My previous important international analysis on the “Modern Diplomacy” political analysis website, regarding my proposals for comprehensive regional, international, and sectarian peace that enjoy significant Chinese and Russian sponsorship, support, and interest, evoked numerous international reactions, particularly from the United States. This prompted many international political figures to contact me to express their admiration and opinions on my proposals and to host me officially on Chinese state television to discuss the compatibility between the Chinese, Egyptian, Jordanian, and Arab plans for the reconstruction of Gaza. It was an interesting and enjoyable meeting for me with the prominent Chinese journalist and media personality “Shuqi Lin” from the “Shenzhen TV media group.”
Perhaps for the first time, I feel extremely embarrassed and overwhelmed by the assessment of all the events and developments that occurred immediately afterward. Starting with the official American determination to send me official invitations to go to Washington and similar invitations I received from the US National Security Agency to meet with me, in addition, of course, to the role of the US embassy in Cairo in trying to encourage me to hold official meetings in Washington. This is despite my utmost determination to avoid any direct confrontation with the official American side, given the many real harassments proven by conclusive and tangible evidence that I have published over the past several years, which threaten my life and personal safety due to foreign American interventions to harass me and turn my entire life into a living hell. This is in addition to the recruitment of many of those around me, given my close proximity, from my early university years until my early adolescence, to Chinese politics and my defense of the decisions of the Politburo of the ruling Communist Party in China, which is the highest political body that manages the affairs of the Communist Party in Beijing. In addition, as I mentioned, to my extensive study of the recruitment of Chinese from the Kaifeng region of China into the Israeli army, and my authorship of the most important international book in this context, to the extent that major American and international universities, ranked first in the US and internationally, purchased copies of it, headed by Harvard University, ranked first in the US and internationally, in addition to the universities of (Stanford, Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Columbia, and New York), in addition to the US Library of Congress’s keenness to acquire copies of it. As shown internationally on the map of purchasing and consulting the aforementioned book on the file of Judaizing the Chinese.
In the midst of these previous events, I was extended an American diplomatic invitation away from any diplomatic headquarters, given my absolute and categorical refusal to have direct contact with the official American side due to the ongoing harassment and follow-up by them. I was surprised by the presence of prominent American officials, specifically from the US National Security Committee, to meet and listen to me in the heart of Cairo. They came specifically to hear me, my proposals, and my opinion, and nothing else, as I had reservations about traveling and meeting them in the heart of the American capital, Washington. I conveyed this precisely to the Chinese and the international community regarding the presence of official American voices interested in hearing from me personally regarding my aforementioned peace proposals. Accordingly, as I have previously stated, I will endeavor to spare everyone any serious embarrassment while fully welcoming cooperation with all parties. As an internationally recognized Egyptian academic, researcher, analyst, and university professor, I am well-known for my precise specialization in Chinese political affairs and the policies of the ruling Communist Party in China (the subject of my doctoral dissertation). I am also close to and in constant contact with official Chinese circles in Beijing. I will also convey to the official Egyptian side all the questions the American side has to me, and I will endeavor to find opportunities for rapprochement and convergence of the views of all parties, free from any American pressure exerted on us in Cairo regarding the issue of the forced displacement of the residents of the Gaza Strip to Egypt and Jordan, which the Chinese completely and fundamentally reject. As for what the American side wanted from me specifically, the Americans asked me for confirmation from the Chinese regarding the extent of Beijing’s serious desire to conclude an “Israeli-Iranian peace agreement under Chinese auspices,” as I have previously indicated and published on the condition that Washington finds an immediate and urgent solution that would keep the residents of the Gaza Strip on their land and reject their forced displacement. This is what I assure them and everyone else. Beijing is waving the Israeli-Iranian peace card to Washington and Tel Aviv in exchange for restoring and spreading peace in the region and finding an urgent solution to the Palestinian issue, which stipulates that American pressure will not be exerted on Egypt and Jordan regarding the forced displacement of Gaza residents.
At the same time, I expressed my dismay at the export of the image of US President Trump to the region and his irresponsible behavior and conduct with heads of state and politicians, as if he were concluding commercial, not political, agreements and deals. I asked US national security officials to dispatch a committee to discuss and find a solution independent of President Trump. The general mood in the region and among its people has become one of refusal to meet or shake hands with him due to his belittling of the other side. This is inappropriate in the language of seasoned politicians and diplomats, especially in Washington. I hope the Trump administration understands the significance of my request, as our people value and respect their presidents, kings, and leaders and refuse to be belittled in any political or diplomatic encounter. Furthermore, on a personal level, I was surprised by the American side’s complete monitoring and understanding of my relations with the Chinese since I was just a young student at Peking University in China, reminding me of the names of all my Chinese professors and colleagues in China. This completely astonished me, given that I was under close and constant surveillance by them. This brought to mind a unique and worthy incident between us when I was officially invited, along with a very limited number of others, by the Center for Middle Eastern Studies at Peking University to attend a discussion session with the Iranian nuclear official at the Iranian Embassy in Beijing. During the discussion, I was surprised by the Iranian nuclear official in Beijing’s insistence on speaking in Persian throughout the meeting, rather than Chinese or English, despite his complete fluency in both languages. An Iranian translator was present to translate from Persian to Chinese or English. I interpreted this at the time as a deliberate Iranian plan to have the Iranian nuclear official speak only Persian so that his statements would not be misinterpreted or misunderstood.
I reminded the American side of something extremely dangerous and important at the time: the Chinese side, during a meeting with the Iranian nuclear official in Beijing, insisted on inviting only one American Jewish scholar. No other party was invited to the meeting. The American scholar was also keen to record the entire meeting with the Iranian nuclear official in Beijing. My American Jewish colleague, who attended the meeting and was invited by the Chinese, had surprised me several months earlier, during my studies at Peking University in China, when he stopped me and told me that he was our American Jewish colleague at the university and that he came from one of the most famous and influential American Jewish families. I couldn’t understand why our American colleague introduced himself to me in this way on the Peking University campus. All he could have done was introduce himself to me as an American colleague, and that would have been enough. The American colleague in question would have identified himself to me and assured me that they were interested in me. At the time, I didn’t fully understand what was going on. Only after I arrived and settled in Egypt did I find myself under strict American surveillance. They were fully aware that I was the true academic and researcher who understood China and its ruling Communist Party from a strictly ideological perspective. As I later understood, the Americans were completely afraid of trying to control me. This would prevent me from spreading ideological communist ideas in Egypt and the region and attracting everyone to the ideas of the ruling Communist Party in China. This was especially true since my doctoral thesis was on Chinese politics and the policies of the ruling Communist Party in China.
I also responded to the American side at the time, saying that if you had placed me under strict and intense surveillance from my early years of study in the Chinese capital, Beijing, I would have been the most dangerous and important Egyptian, Arab, and foreign researcher who had studied the entire file of the Judaization of the Chinese within the Chinese capital, Beijing. I knew the names of all my fellow foreign Jewish students within the heart of the university campus, even those who were in hiding. I had also studied the entire file of Christian evangelism among the Chinese within the heart of the Chinese capital, Beijing itself, and I met all the American and British priests who sought to evangelize and spread Christianity among the Chinese through my attendance at Christian churches in China, especially the Korean Church and the British Protestant Church in the Chinese capital, Beijing. In fact, at the time, I had a close friendship with the British priest “Mark” and his wife, Mrs. Diana, who were responsible for British Protestant church affairs in the heart of the Chinese capital, Beijing, despite everyone knowing and my not completely concealing my identity and religion, that I was an Egyptian Muslim citizen.
I am also proud to be the only Egyptian and Arab academic and researcher permitted to study the issue of Judaization and proselytization within China. My complete and true understanding is that there are violations by Chabad houses designated for Jewish prayer and Jewish temples in China, which allow the entry and invitation of Chinese people inside them to convert them and spread the Jewish religion, despite the fact that Judaism is not a missionary religion but rather a blood relative of the mother. My taking photos of Chinese people inside Chabad houses and Jewish temples in China and publishing them proves that Chabad houses and Jewish temples in China are violating Chinese law and the Chinese constitution, which prohibits inviting Chinese people to places of worship owned by foreigners, and vice versa, in accordance with the constitution of the (Committee for Religious Minority Affairs) of the ruling Communist Party in China. This opened the gates of hell wide open, with threats of immediate retaliation from the Jewish lobby in Washington due to my publication and taking of photographs proving that Chabad houses and synagogues in China violated Chinese laws, regulations, and decrees regulating the operation of places of worship for foreigners in China, which prohibit Chinese citizens from entering them. This necessitated their immediate closure by the Chinese authorities. This led to a fierce war being waged against me in Cairo, using terrorists from a group funded and paid by the United States, turning it into a street war with me in the heart of Egypt. This ultimately led me to take a strict and cautious stance toward everything American, due to my extreme fear of them and their reaction to my international writings and analyses related to China, its ruling Communist Party, and the issue of the Judaization of the Chinese. My exposure and knowledge of the most minute details, secrets, and hidden aspects of this issue, and even my analysis of it for the Chinese themselves and the entire international community, as I was fully and accurately informed of it in the heart of China.
Taking into consideration that all Christian churches and even mosques in China, such as the Sudanese Embassy Mosque in the heart of the Chinese capital, Beijing, which is the largest mosque that brings together the Arab and Muslim communities in Beijing, all adhere to Chinese laws, regulations, bylaws, and decisions regulating the work of places of worship for foreigners in China, and which refuse to invite or host Chinese people inside them, otherwise they must be closed immediately, given the presence of places of worship for the Chinese themselves. I witnessed this myself from the keenness of my friend, the British priest “Mark,” and his wife, Mrs. Diana, to carefully and accurately investigate the identity of all those who attend the British Protestant Church in the Chinese capital, Beijing, and their prayer times and attendance at the British Protestant Church in Beijing every Sunday at 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM, to prevent Chinese people from entering it, and thus the threat of its closure by the Chinese authorities, especially by some Chinese minorities, especially those from the Chinese region of Xinjiang, which has a Muslim majority, and whose features do not follow the same features as the Chinese Han majority.
These same circumstances also led the Chinese to introduce me to the only Egyptian Baha’i family living in Beijing since the 1980s. They have had no contact with the rest of the Egyptian and Arab community in China, and hardly anyone knows anything about them. They came to China and settled there to escape the harassment during the Sadat era due to their adoption and dissemination of the Baha’i faith. I went to meet them and greet them. Their Egyptian son, a computer engineer, studied computer engineering and software at the prestigious Tsinghua University in China and continues to work at the headquarters of Google and Microsoft in China. He and his family have maintained their Egyptian identity despite having lived, studied, and worked in Beijing since the 1980s, during the era of President “Sadat,” may God have mercy on him, as they told me.
In short, my response to the American side, who came specifically to meet me in Cairo, was stern. As a high-level Egyptian academic, I have studied all the thorny files and issues, and I have extensive knowledge and insight into all parties, circumstances, and complexities. All international and diplomatic parties are keen to listen to me and fully understand my point of view in Egypt regarding China’s relations with the United States and all areas of conflict and influence between them. Therefore, I do not need American support or anything else, given that I excel over a large number of American and Western scholars in understanding China, its challenges, issues, and all its international complexities from a purely Chinese perspective.
Accordingly, this was the primary and essential gateway to opening a dialogue between me and the United States and its officials, who were only interested in listening to me and fully understanding my point of view as an Egyptian academic close to Chinese circles in Cairo.
What I mentioned about myself to you and to the Americans was perhaps the very essence of our conversation: I am an Egyptian academic carefully prepared for discussion and dialogue, and my writings and analyses on China, the policies of its Communist Party, and all its issues are highly regarded internationally. Many international media outlets, universities, and even the global press are keen to translate many of my analyses into their language to facilitate the understanding of my analyses by their people, academics, and stakeholders.
Accordingly, I laid the foundations for dialogue between me and the official American side so that they understand—and they certainly do—the extent of my extreme importance, and I urge them to listen to me carefully. The most prominent points discussed between us are as follows:
Conveying to US national security officials the failure of any future peace agreements and deals in the region between the Hebrew state and others, given the popular and political discontent with Washington and Tel Aviv’s policies in the region, especially after the Gaza war, and demanding that they improve their image among Arab public opinion and the Arab peoples. We also express our complete and absolute rejection of the forced displacement of the residents of the Gaza Strip from their land. We convey the Chinese agreement with the Egyptian plan to rebuild Gaza and prevent the displacement of its citizens. This is the same assertion made by Chinese Foreign Minister “Wang Yi” during his speech at the annual session of the National Legislative Assembly in March 2025, when he emphasized that “Gaza is a land belonging to the Palestinian people and is an integral part of the Palestinian territories.” Wang Yi emphasized that “altering the status of Gaza by force will not bring peace but will cause new and widespread chaos in the region.”
I conveyed to US national security officials Beijing’s commitment not to exclude any party from the Palestinian dialogue, while urging all Palestinian factions to adhere to the Beijing Declaration to achieve Palestinian unity and strengthen their internal strength. I also emphasized the need to overcome all differences in the Middle East region to support the establishment of a Palestinian state. At the same time, the international community must build consensus and promote peace between Palestine and Israel.
I presented concrete and immediate proposals to the official US side regarding how to improve their image among our peoples, urging them to act as a responsible international superpower and fully assume its international responsibilities towards us. I also urged the US to not suspend USAID programs, which have caused much controversy among disadvantaged groups in Egyptian society, such as students at the American University in Cairo and others.
I asked the Americans to implement development projects in Cairo to help our children, especially with the deterioration of the American image as a leading democratic superpower among us. Here, I can convey my voice to Mr. John Ratcliffe, in his capacity as the new Director of the Central Intelligence Agency under US President Trump, that the image of the United States of America has been completely shaken among our peoples, and I express my readiness to help them understand the nature of the Egyptian and Arab people, who are capable and influential in their decision-making in avoiding the United States of America in the media and among the people. Accordingly, as an Egyptian professor in the Department of Political Science at Beni Suef University in southern Egypt, I propose to the American side that they modernize the Department of General Surgery at Beni Suef University and its university hospital and train its staff and professors with the latest equipment and technologies. I also encourage the American side to find a way to communicate with me, to understand all the needs of the university hospital at Beni Suef University, from the kidney dialysis unit and other facilities, and to provide American services, grants, and donations to the university hospital at the heart of my university, which I am very proud to belong to in Beni Suef. In addition to encouraging the American side to extend this experience to all Egyptian university hospitals to help and provide assistance to our patients, hoping to improve this bleak and negative image in the minds of the Egyptian public, especially among the poor.
I also take this opportunity to invite the Chinese side to do the same while welcoming the Chinese to communicate with me to compete in doing good with the Americans. This includes modernizing my university hospital in Beni Suef after my stay there and discovering its significant need for modern and advanced technologies and equipment, especially those operating in the field of artificial intelligence, a new type requiring technical training in our Egyptian university hospitals. My primary concern here is the health of Egyptians, especially the poor among them. I also encourage the American and Chinese sides to develop joint programs to teach our children various handicrafts and how to market them internationally. I believe that if this were to happen, the bleak and negative image of the United States would significantly improve, as I noted, among our peoples, who currently refuse to listen to any official American voice.
I am confident that the Americans, along with the Chinese, will fully understand my point of view. I call on them to work with us and assist us in development and health programs, far removed from any narrow American agenda for human rights and democracy, with which we are all currently at odds, following the abject failure to spread American democracy in Iraq, Afghanistan, and around the world.
I affirm to the Americans that China rejects the displacement of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip. China, along with all Arab countries, will undertake the immediate and urgent reconstruction of Gaza. China has agreed with President “Abdel Fattah El-Sisi” on his proposal to form a “non-factional technocratic committee” to administer the Gaza Strip for at least six months under the umbrella of the Palestinian Authority, with a specific deadline given to China and all other active parties to rebuild the Strip.
I affirm China’s commitment, along with Egypt, Jordan, and all countries in the region, to the principle of “the Palestinians govern Palestine” in administering Gaza after the war, in line with the two-state solution and the ultimate goal of achieving peaceful coexistence between Palestine and Israel, as well as long-term peace and stability in the Middle East. Chinese President “Xi Jinping” expressed this position during the first Arab-Chinese summit held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on December 9, 2022, when he emphasized that “the historical injustice suffered by the Palestinian people cannot continue indefinitely, the legitimate national rights of the Palestinian people cannot be compromised, and the aspirations for an independent state are unacceptable.” He added that his country “firmly supports the establishment of an independent, fully sovereign Palestinian state on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital, supports Palestine’s attainment of full membership in the United Nations, and will continue to provide humanitarian assistance to the Palestinian side.”
Presenting the full Chinese vision regarding the method and mechanism for implementing the Gaza reconstruction plan quickly and urgently, by leveraging China’s experience in constructing and building giant skyscrapers. This is the same principle upon which the Chinese plan for rebuilding the Gaza Strip is based, using the Chinese construction method. China is constructing high-rise buildings in the Gaza Strip, approximately 50 stories high, with a suitable apartment provided to every Palestinian family residing in the Gaza Strip, who can live there permanently, as a quick solution for rebuilding the stricken Strip.
Finally, the establishment of an independent Palestinian state, recognized by the United Nations and internationally, is the fundamental guarantee for peace in the region. This position is perhaps in line with the position of many countries around the world and the trend of a large number of Western countries to recognize the Palestinian state, most recently states like Spain, Ireland, and Norway. They justify this position by claiming that it helps the Palestinians and Israelis achieve peace and represents a global trend that supports and promotes the establishment of a Palestinian state, which must be preceded by recognition of its permanent membership in the United Nations. This is the same responsibility that falls on the permanent members of the Security Council, and it is necessary to prevent the use of the veto power to prevent the Palestinians from achieving their legitimate dreams.
