Khamenei Rejects Both Trump’s Diplomacy and His Military Boast

Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei rejected U. S. President Donald Trump's offer for renewed talks and denied Trump's claim that the U. S. has destroyed Iran's nuclear capabilities.

Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei rejected U. S. President Donald Trump’s offer for renewed talks and denied Trump’s claim that the U. S. has destroyed Iran’s nuclear capabilities.

Khamenei criticized Trump’s approach, saying it is not a real deal if it involves coercion. The U. S. and Iran previously had five rounds of indirect negotiations that ended amid military actions against Iranian nuclear sites.

Khamenei dismissed Trump’s comments about bombing Iran’s nuclear industry and stated that America’s involvement in Iran’s nuclear situation is inappropriate.

Western powers accuse Iran of secretly developing nuclear weapons, a claim Iran denies, insisting its program is for civilian energy.
