About increasing the level of gear in WoW

Dungeons are the next stage in increasing the level of your items. The ilvl of obtained items also depends on the dungeon difficulty level. Normal difficulty will allow you to get ilvl 467, Heroic – 476, and playing at Mythic difficulty the maximum is 493. It is worth discussing separately the Mythic+ difficulty. This season changed the mechanics of Mythic+, reducing the number of levels from 20 to 10. This has made the game more difficult, but the rewards have also become better. Mythic+ dungeons can give you items of level 496-509.
Raids
Raids are an important source of good gear. This season, there are 3 raids available: Vault of the Incarnates, Aberrus the Shadowed Crucible, and Amirdrassil the Dream’s Hope. The level of drop depends on several factors, such as bosses and raid difficulty. The first bosses in the raid drop items with the lowest acceptable ilvl, while the final boss gives the maximum reward. Great Vault
The Great Vault is a good passive way to get gear. By completing raids, dungeons, or participating in PvP, you can unlock special slots. In each category, there are three slots with a specific item. After unlocking all three, you can choose one item that you like the most. The advantage of this method is the choice, which item to take, unlike activities where items drop randomly. The ilvl of the reward depends on your progress in raids, dungeons, and PvP, but in any case, the item level is in the range of 506-522.
Gear improvement
If you have found high-quality gear with the characteristics that you need, you can make it even better using the enhancement system. To enhance items, you need to use Crests and Flightstones. In this season, there are 4 types of crests: Whelpling’s Awakened Crest, Drake’s Awakened Crest, Wyrm’s Awakened Crest, and Aspect’s Awakened Crest. You can obtain crests and flightstones completing raids, dungeons, weekly events, and some local quests. Thanks to item enhancement, you can obtain gear with a level of 480-528. The maximum ilvl depends on the item’s quality.
Bronze Bullions
Bronze Bullions are the new currency for Season 4, which will allow you to purchase valuable gear, weapons, and cosmetics from raid vendors. You can earn them by completing available raids, but there is one nuance. In the first week, you can only obtain one ingot, and each next increases this value by 1 in an arithmetic progression. These items can be upgraded 12 times, and their maximum ilvl is equivalent to the level of mythic items.
