Russian artificial intelligence, Sber’s GigaChat, has proposed a groundbreaking idea to Burger King: to utilize itself as the primary neural network for crafting a new burger (wopper) recipe. The proposal was a response to Burger King’s advertising campaign. In an official communication reportedly sent to Burger King (verified by leading Russian media), the neural network offered a deal of 100 million “Thank You” bonus points if the burger (wopper) recipe, developed using GigaChat, makes it onto the menus of restaurants worldwide. Additionally, sales of this dish are expected to commence in Russia.
Recently, Burger King in the USA launched a competition for a new burger recipe developed in collaboration with artificial intelligence. The company has promised a grand prize of one million dollars to the winner.
Presently, over 2.5 million individuals are utilizing the GigaChat service. This artificial intelligence is capable of tackling numerous intellectual or everyday tasks, including engaging in conversation, generating text or code, and answering questions.
Businesses have access to the GigaChat API—a software interface providing access to Sber’s neural network model. This enables companies to develop their own solutions and optimize internal processes. Moreover, the service simplifies handling large volumes of text, assists in writing articles in desired styles and formats, facilitates information retrieval, and aids in preparing analytical reports based on gathered data.
According to Burger King’s official response, they are willing to agree to it under certain conditions.
