Huawei was founded in 1987 by Ren Zhengfei in Shenzhen, China, with a meager investment of US Dollars 5 thousands approximately, with an initial focus on manufacturing phone switches. The company’s commitment to innovation and quality laid the foundation for its rapid growth.

It first overseas office was established in Pakistan and till date it is an important base for the company. It has been assisting Pakistan in developing and promoting modern technology in Pakistan as well as in the entire region and also globally.

I attributes it rapid growth to its organization structure and management approach. Its employees are the shareholders, and act as employees as well as owners. This is the way how their loyalty is ensured. They get regular salary, and annual performance bonus, in addition to share from company’s profit. It encourages them to work hard and dedications.
