Economic Purgatory & Pandemic Hell

Staying mum on Marxism, Communism and McCarthyism, but clinging to Capitalism, as an open casino, creating bubble-gum-powered, paper-Mache economies, all hedged for maximum virtual-crypto-experiences. A La La Land under rainbows, nonstop printing; Viagra sunrises, Cannabis High afternoons, and Opioid Sunsets, elitism carved in ivory, poverty photo-shopped into radicalized tribalism, but all is always good and all is always hunky-dory.  Populace of the world, undigested with Tik-Tok, mesmerized by financially broke earth leaving behind, believing that finally our real progress now measured only by ‘Missions to Mars’. Therefore, civilization must upskill to fit into spacecrafts, the size of dishwashers, as a six-month long one-way journey brings some closure. Who needs Rapture? Economic purgatory and pandemic hell will do just fine.

Stuck in chaos of economic purgatory, sliding into pandemic hell; nation-by-nation exposed and struggling, city-by-city lacking performance and productivity, while drifting intelligentsia pickled in marinated influences of choice, now prefer hiding in panic rooms searching for oxygen. Are there other ways out? Without facing pitch forked populace ready to attack, what lip service narratives are needed for Teleprompters about ‘Futurism is Workless’ or to explain what ‘really’ transpired during ‘globalization’ of economies?  Can national leadership handle such calamites? What special help is required?
