After all, despite high rise buildings and fancy offices, across the world the intriguing divides; rich nations or poor nations, agricultural belts or industrial complexes, major divides are now only between ‘digitally advanced superior nations’ and ‘not so advanced inferior paper-pushing nations’ all due to lack of skills and mental blocks to accept digitization. Currently, any discussion anywhere in the world with Public Private Sector on digitization for fears of exposing 50% redundancy and 50% lack of competency forbids such dialogue. Go try it.
Why not accept global entrepreneurialism on the march, as some billion new fresh entrepreneurs are emerging from Asia alone. When was the last debate on this topic in your nation? The collapses of B-School education avoid such discussions, as nations despite armies of MBA failed in entrepreneurialism. This is where the global balance of prosperity will be deciphered.
Why not, embrace futurism with futuristic literacy – change policies to allow space to fit nouveau entrepreneurialism, such thinking erases the fears of robots, as humans should only fear their own incompetency. Enforce national workforce to become skilled experts with digital platform economies and not just social media. However, and most importantly, such ideas are not new funding dependent rather they are deployment hungry and execution starved. Nevertheless, such revolutionary thinking calls for bold leadership; remove the first person for saying they have no new funding to bring change. Remove the next person for saying they are too busy and have no time to bring change.
