The defense allocations have been increased by12percent to Rs1.289trillion from Rs1.152trillion in the current year`s budget. On the other hand, federal government had cut share of federating units without meeting of Council of Common interests (CCI) and National Economic Council (NCC). Moreover, federal government could not cut the share of National Financial Commission (NFC) award under the Constitution of Pakistan at Article 160.
