Educational propaganda to overcome the past and current literacy rate of Pakistan and its future

Education, specifically formal education received at schools being controlled by government and private sectors is a tool of propaganda. In countries like Pakistan control over education has become the instrument of the dominant elite.  Since 1950’s our education system has been a splendid source of propaganda keeping our youth from developing critical thinking and asking uncomfortable questions. We have rolled out youth, corrupting their thinking who remain confused on the role of religion in one’s life and in the affairs of the state, who believe heroism is but what is instructed in historic tales of battles and wars that we never won, who argue all non-Muslims and other sects as their enemies and who believe the world continues to conspire against their country. Do we ever think for a while or feel shame for what we have done till now to our generation or why we are still so far in comparable to education system or literacy rate of other states?

So it’s time now to think over this sarcastic truth. In order to improve the literacy rate and overcome our educational barriers, the most important propaganda is to educate the girls of Pakistan and break the patriarchal concept passing on from centuries. If the girls of Pakistan get education till secondary level and it have been made compulsory for them then there would be hope of improving our system. As the population of females in Pakistan is more than males so  Government should make it rule of state that every girl whether in village or city or any area of Pakistan should go to school or college and they would get stipend for it monthly along with books and uniform. This will create competition among society and youth and force all males to get better education .This will urge every youngster to get education and the minds of male dominating society would get changed .NGO’S and organizations should regularly survey in every area of Pakistan to check out whether girls are getting education of not and if their  families or societies raise questions or stop their girls from getting education, government should charged them or there should be penalty for them. Government should announce the law that if any brother or father let to stop their girl from getting education they won’t get any job and education in any sector of Pakistan.

When such strict laws and rules should be implemented in Pakistan I think that within the struggle of few years our literacy rate would become high and the patriarchal concept of society thinking girls as inferior would be improve and will boost the morale of every male to get much more better education then his female in order to maintain his, status level in state. This will overcome terrorism, suicides and crimes in Pakistan. Moreover if more stress would be lay on it that the will be hope to overcome unemployment in Pakistan. In order to see better Pakistan so the only need now is to take into consideration this propaganda and implement it.
