On World Tourism Day, the United Nations underscored the potential of sustainable tourism to advance economic, social, environmental and cultural sustainable development.

The inaugural World Economic Forum Sustainable Development Impact Summit will take place in New York on 18-19 September 2017, with the aim of scaling up solutions and accelerating the deployment of technological innovations in support of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Paris climate agreement.
