ince some time china and India are warming up to contain one another China has kicked off Belt and Road Initiative. This initiative (BRI) puts China at the heart of the new pan-Eurasian economic order the effort has drawn commitments from over 60 countries and international organizations, and has been described as China’s project of the century.

ecently on June 28, China launched what it calls the most advanced and largest warship in Asia on Wednesday, billing it as a major step forward in the modernisation of its navy. As the first of the new Type 055 guided-missile destroyers – which have a displacement of more than 12,000 tonnes – military experts said it was designed to accompany the country’s future aircraft carrier battle groups.

ecently the Uyghur organizations abroad are increasing pressures to convey the image of China as a "State of torture". We do no certainly want to deny that the Muslim population in Xinjiang, which at the time of Mao's Long March was simply called "the Western Region", does not tolerate some restrictions, but it is anyway true that the Islamist and jihadist networks are largely present in the region and that, as always happens in these cases, they have visible structures covering the invisible ones.
