The Islamic Caliphate State is the fourth stage in the development of an Islamic Jihadi terrorist group. Historically, there was the Jama'at al-Tawhid wal-Jihad (the uniqueness and Jihad group), established by Abu Mus'ab al-Zarqawi, Jordanian citizen with a Palestinian identity.

An increased likelihood for all risks, from the environmental to society, the economy, geopolitics and technology, looks set to shape the global agenda in the coming year, the World Economic Forum’s Global Risks Report 2016 has found.

On 14 December, the Saudis announced the formation of a 34-state Islamic military coalition to fight terrorism. Saudi defense minister Prince Mohammed said, “Today, every Islamic country is fighting terrorism individually…. According to what disclosed by Russian sources, the fact that Turkey smuggles - on a large scale - oil coming from the Caliphate is - if not certain - highly likely.
